Of all the descriptions that I can use to describe who YOU ( the woman reading this) are, none can match how God sees you, no matter how fancy the words, or how pretty the picture - you are someone special to God! |
Malachi 3:17 says, "and they shall be mine, says the Lord, in that day when I make up my jewels, and I will spare them..." The word 'jewel' used here is the same as the one meaning 'special treasure'. God seeS you as His very own Special Treasure!
No matter what you have been through, what others have called you, or how you see yourself when you look into the deepest, hurting part of your heart - God still sees you as His jewel. He still loves you. Yes, you. Whether you are an active believer in His Word (Jesus),
or if you only go to church on Easter and Christmas, or even if you haven't been inside a church for a very long time; God has not forgotten you.

| A woman's sense of self worth and value comes from the relationship she has had (or has not had) with her earthly father. If a young girl is treated as if she has little value, she will grow up carrying a low price tag on herself. And she will miss out on the rewarding and loving relationship with her heavenly Father.
