Vision / MissionVisionThis is the vision that the Lord has entrusted to MJR Ministries - to call in these greater works by the 'acknowledging of every good thing that is already in us'; by seeing ourselves the way God really sees us, and by calling in those things that 'be not as though they were' and they shall be! We are called to set women free from themselves, to stir up the giftings within them and to empower them to prosper in what God has called each one of them to do - to walk in the reality of what John 14:12 promises. We are called to assist Christian women, primarily born-again believers, in becoming rooted, grounded and established in the Word of God by teaching them to give God's Word first place in their lives. (Colossians 1:23 and Psalms 112) We are called to teach women to operate in situation-changing faith, allowing God's power to flow through them so that they can live in the prosperity which God has already given them and their loved ones.
MissionThe mission of MJR Ministries to to assist women who are in crisis situations, primarily older women between the ages of 40 - 65 with no resources or dependents. Women who have been attending church, but have fallen on hard times. Women who do not qualify for secular assistance because they are not involved with drugs or alcohol or abuse, etc, but feel they have fallen through the cracks and may be too ashamed or too proud to seek help from relatives, or even from their own church. Currently, we reach out with hope and encouragement from the Word of God, counseling, prayer, and practical information. As funds are provided, we will be enabled to assist such women with emergency shelter, food, clothing, and financial assistance. We will empower them to once again become independent and search out other women like themselves to provide what they have received.
