Notes on Financial Scriptures

The following are my notes (4 pages) on certain scriptures that helped me to develop my faith to receive wealth. I pray that you will use these to your advantage.

Phiippians 4:19 - my God will meet all your need according to His glorious riches by Christ Jesus.

Its not what you've got but what God has that will meet all your needs. Hallelujah! He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, all the silver and all the gold, the earth is His and its fullness. He ain't broke! And neither are you because you belong to Him! Just keep thanking Him until the manifestation comes that His word is true for You.

Hebrews 6:13-14 - for when God made His promise to Abraham, He swore by Himself (since He had no one greater by whom to swear) saying, 'Blessing I will certainly bless you and multiplying I will multiply you.

God swore He would bless you and multiply you! Imagine that. Its great enough that He said it; but he SWORE! There was once a time when we gave our word and it meant something. It was an oath we took that no matter what happened (even if it meant our own ruin) we would keep our word to another person. We even used to say 'as God is my witness' to show our determination. God has in essence said, 'as I AM is my witness'. There can be no doubt He will bring His blessing to pass in your life!

Psalm 66:12 - You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water but You brought us out to a wealthy place.

It doesn't matter how hot the fires or how deep the waters through which you must pass. What matters is that God Himself says that He has already brought you out! And not just to a dry and cool place but to a place of wealth, a place of abundance! God isn't just the God of 'enough', He is the God of 'more than enough'! Hallelujah!

Psalm 37:4-5 - delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him. And He will bring it to pass.

Its true. God doesn't just grant you the desires of your heart - He puts them in you to begin with! Thats what this scripture says. Re-read it. He will give you the desires that are in your heart. THEN He breathes life into them as you trust Him to do so! Hallelujah! You have your bills paid! Glory to God! You have a new house! Praise Him! You get that new car you've been desiring! They didn't have cars in Jesus' time; they had donkeys and horses. When He rode into Jerusalem, He asked for a donkey that had never been ridden - not one that was used. That means NEW. That's why you can't settle for a used car. Go ahead and THANK Him that He wants you to have new car and everyone that sees you and hears your good report will give Him all the glory!!!

2 Corinthians 9:8amp - and God is able to make all grace abound to you so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

God is your source. Not your job. Not your spouse. Jehovah-Jireh. Provider God. His purpose for giving to you is so that you abound in every good work. That means so you can be generous to everyone around you. We are made in His image, givers, and as we obey, He supplies. More than enough to meet your needs, your desires, AND give away!

Mark 16:17 - and these signs shall follow them that believe: in My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.

I am a believer. You are a believer. jesus said this is one of the signs that would follow those that believed. We have the authority to speak to the spirit of debt and tell it to LEAVE in Jesus' name. We have the authority to speak to the spirit of lack and tell it to LEAVE according to Mark 16:17. And to the spirit of poverty, we say LEAVE in Jesus' name! And they WILL leave; they HAVE to obey the spoken word of God! Glory to God!

Luke 10:19 - behold! I give you authority and power to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the ability of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means harm you.

We have to know that this is ours. Recovery comes when we pursue; when we attack the enemy. It doesn't come when you stick your head in the sand saying, if it be God's will. God's WORD is His will! If you can find it in the word, you can pursue it. Jesus says in this scripture: "I delegate my authority to you. I give you the power." You can face the enemy fearlessly when you understand this promise. We have the authority and the power to put the devil (serpent) under our feet because Jesus gave it to us. And all of his little demon spirits (scorpions) like disease and debt and drugs and poverty and lack as well! Jesus said over all the ability of the enemy, not just some, but ALL. And as if that weren't all, Jesus went and said that nothing would be able to harm us no matter what! Isn't Jesus Wonderful?
