Who We Are

MJR Ministries is a grassroots ministry founded on John 14:12:

"I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father."

We believe that God created us in His image and likeness, and that as His children He gave us His power to create and recreate our situations and impact the lives of others. We believe that by accepting Jesus, God's WORD, into our hearts, we have received God Himself and His Anointing - the power to be holy, to be good, to prosper - which causes us to triumph! In so doing, we indeed usher in the Kingdom of God on earth.

MJR Ministries is operated by women volunteers who have all experienced the situations to which this ministry is dedicated. Most importantly. we have all experienced the power of God in our lives - no matter how bad the circumstances, we have used the Word of God to change our lives and the lives of our loved ones, to take back what the devil has stolen!

We are called to show Jesus to others so that they, too, can enjoy abundant life on earth and eternal life hereafter. We do this through this website, through preaching and teaching the Word of God, articles, booklets and helping other women in crisis in a practical way. This Ministry is operated out of our own resources primarily, and out of funds which the Lord gives us through others, secondarily. As the Lord permits, we seek to attain the following goals:

to provide and maintain a website dedicated to encourage, inspire and teach women who they are in the Lord and what power He has given them through their mouths speaking His word. (Scriptures quoted are from the New King James Version, unless otherwise noted.)
to provide funds to individual women in the Houston area who need help paying their debts.
to provide funds to help these participants remain in their own homes or keep their cars from being repossessed.
to found a home-style residence for women seeking temporary shelter. Our targeted participants would be older, single, divorced or widowed women who are passed over for jobs due to their age yet are still too young to retire or to qualify for social security benefits.
